The fetch trick is one of the easiest in the book. Try picking up your Boston Terrier’s favorite toy and throwing it a few feet away. And while you do it, say Fetch as your dog runs and brings the toy back.
When your dog picks up the toy and brings it back to you, praise them. Wait for them to drop the toy and then praise them again once they do. Once this behavior is accomplished, you can move on more objects like balls, Frisbees, sticks, etc.
Do The Dance Trick With Your Boston Terrier
The dance trick starts with the sitting position. After that, you bring the treat up to your puppy’s nose until it jumps on its hind legs. Give the dog the treat and gently hold your Boston Terrier’s front legs. Guide them using their front legs while they’re standing. However, don’t force them or pull them forcefully because they’re very sensitive to training. When you have their focus, pick up their paw and hold their treat in the other one. Do this until they associate raising their paw in your hand with a treat.
